Sim only deals mean you get only a sim card from t-mobile. This is possible through other companies, but currently t-mobile is offering some of the best deals in doing this. Your existing phone, if it is one supported by t-mobile, only needs a new sim car popped into it to be able to support their network. Doing this means that they do not have to furnish the phone and can thus afford to offer substantially better deals than they would if you were looking into getting a new phone package deal.
Currently t mobile offers a variety of deals if you decide to bring your blackberry over to them. They are offering six months of free internet as well as six months of Blackberry Mail. Until late Januraru 2011 they are also offering unlimited texts for free if you grab a sim card and pop it into your existing phone. You can use your blackberry in the same ways you would on any other network. This means you will be able to receive your email on it, use the blackberry web browser, and even download games and fun applications onto it.
You can pay monthly through the t-mobile sim only plans as well. There are rolling plans that last only 30 days, which allow you the freedom of a short commitment. You can get 12 month plans that will afford you larger allotments of texts and minutes, and even fixed price plans. Fixed priced plans make it where you will never pay more than you have originally decided to. The fixed price works in that it does not allow you to go over your allotment and thus you’re never having to pay overage fees. With the prepaid plans you can check your balance at any time, and even get low balance alerts. Currently the plans some with the T Mobile Nights in plan. You can also keep your existing phone number by transferring over. To do this you need the name of your old network and your PAC code through them. If you’re on the go or need to call overseas regularly you can even get the international sim cards offered through t mobile’s sim only plan. With the top up reminders able to give you a friendly nudge to remind you to add more prepaid time to your phone you’ll never be stranded without phone access.
