Using your existing phone saves you the cost of a new phone while giving you the benefit of being able to switch phone carriers by simply popping a sim card into your applicable phone. Most I Phone and Blackberry devices are capable of being used on other networks as are many of the more common run of the mill phones that you may have had from a previous phone provider. So if you’re sick and tired of dealing with your current phone company and want to change things up you should really consider a sim only plan. In some cases you may have to pay a large termination fee if you decide to end your phone contract early, but if you’re paying way too much for it anyway in some cases it may be worth considering.
The Vodaphone Sim Only Deals start at £10 a month for 100 minutes and unlimited texts for a 30 day plan. If you get one for a whole year the plan cost the same but gives you an allotment of 300 minutes monthly instead of merely 100. The current online only plan of £15 a month gives you a 600minute plan with unlimited texts for a 365 day agreement. If you have an iphone or Blackberry you won’t be left out as they have £15 a month plans for these devices as well. The 1GB Wi-fi with BT OpenZone for I phone gives you 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 megabytes of data per month for 15£ with a 12 month agreement
Vodaphone also offers a pay as you go plan with their Vodaphone Sim Only Deals. The big advantaghe to these plans is that there is no comittment, not even a 30 day one. They feature the same superb network coverage as all of the other plans. Calls cost 21p and texts are 10p. There are no peak rates with calls, there is only the standard 21p flat rate, so you do not have to worry about paying more at certain times. This is not the most cost effective of plans, but if you just want to try out the service to see how well they meet your needs it’s not a bad idea to look into some sim only pay as you go plans from vodaphone.
